+ What should I expect during my first appointment?

Once you are scheduled for a new patient exam, we request you fill out these forms prior to your first appointment.

The dentist will ask about your recent medical history, examine your mouth and decide whether or not you need x-rays. Depending on your treatment plan, the hygienist may use a special dental instruments to check your gums for gum disease. Your dentist will evaluate your overall dental health and conduct an oral cancer screening by holding your tongue with gauze, checking it and your whole mouth, then feeling your jaw and neck.

+ What do I do if I have an emergency?

We provide emergency dental care to existing and new patients. Please give us a call at (415) 397-4433 immediately and we will do our best to relieve your dental pain or address any pressing concerns. If you have a life-threatening condition, please call 911 or seek a hospital emergency room.

+ Do you treat adults and children?

We see every age group from children to adults. All are welcome.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

If you cannot make it your appointment, no problem! We kindly request that you please give us 48 hours advance notice to avoid a $85 cancellation fee.

+ Do you provide Invisalign treatment?

We offer free Invisalign consultation to our new and existing patients. At your first consultation, our doctor will discuss your requirements and will figure out whether Invisalign braces are right for you.

INSURANCE & CHARGES

+ What do you charge for services?

We recommend you come in for a consultation, so our team can provide you with a comprehensive treatment plan that shows your out-of-pocket costs.

+ Do you accept my insurance?

We accept all PPO plans, we are in-network with Delta Dental, Guardian, Cigna, Metlife, Aetna and an out-of-network provider for the other insurances.

+ How does dental insurance work?

Not all dental plans are the same. Insurance companies determine how much they will reimburse for every service. If you want to know more about what your out-of-pocket expenses will be, we're always happy to contact your insurance to help you find out.

+ What if I don't have insurance?

We are currently in the process of creating an in-office Membership plan. In the meantime, a good alternative is to purchase an insurance plan that is HSA-compatible (money that is spent through HSA account on dental services is all tax deductible and withdrawals are tax-free) .

+ Do you offer payment plans?

We offer Care Credit and 5% discount prepayment made for services with check or cash.

+ Do you take Care Credit?

Yes, we do take Care Credit.
